This is a rare tin mechanical toy made by Line Mar, Rocking and Knitting Minnie Mouse.
Works it rocks back and forth, she knits and ears move. Damage to the left ear.
This mechanical tin litho toy was made in the 1950’s. It is all original maintaining its bright colors even though it is around 70 years old. The wind up mechanism works well and she rocks back and forth as her knitting needles move up and down. The toy measures about 7”x4.25”x3.25”. The medium is a lithograph on tin. It is a collectible Disneyana toy. On the back of the rocking chair it says Disney Productions and has the Line Mar Toys , Japan symbol written on it. This toy was mine when I was a little girl. I loved playing with it. It is in very good condition considering it’s vintage age.
